Psychotherapy is a unique and well-documented form of meaningful help in addressing
the conflicts and uncertainties inherent to the human condition. These struggles are
wide and varied and include, amongst others, clinical conditions such as anxiety or
depression, relationship difficulties, work challenges, or simply the desire for personal
growth.
The psychotherapy relationship is different to other sorts of relationships. It is intimate
and safe, providing a reflective and supportive space in which you can feel, think and
express the complexity of your concerns. It differs from talking to a good friend because
it does not include pressure to follow the advice of another person or get muddled
up in the opinions of others. Therapy offers an opportunity to deepen your self-
understanding, to increase your coping capacity, and to receive relief from painful states
of mind.
